Early in the year 2003, somewhere at the far end of a valley lost in the Swiss alps, Dawnless took shape in the silence of an icy cold January month. The will to share its passion for music is probably the main goal of that band made of five close friends. Throughout time Dawnless grows and evoluates. New songs appear, gigs follow one another, the crowd, always following, shares the motivation that each member has for what hes doing. Hand back to the fans what they give you is the least you could do because you wouldnt exist but for them. Its with that state of mind that Dawnless blows heavy riffs while maintaining a very melodic side. The influences come as well from of a metal born in the 80s than from todays greatest Scandinavian bands.

And so it is that Dawnless slowly self created its own universe during theses past few years leading to the recording, in early 2006, of its first album "A Way Of Escape" followed a few months later with the shooting of the video "Winds of Fate" made in the heart of the Alps.
